On Sunday 9th Dec 2012 in the Sports Hall in New Belgrade the Balkans Fighters event was held. It was a promotion of sports MMA and K1.
There were 12 fighters from Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, the Czech Republic and others. The Wonder String Quartet played during the announcement of the fighters. The repertoire that evening covered famous rock and heavy metal songs such as Thunderstruck, Stairway to Heaven, Eye of the Tiger, Black Dog, Viva La Vida and many others.
One of the favorites of the competition, Dušan Džakić, came out to the ring with the sounds of the song What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.
