The Wonder Strings Quartet had yet another gig on Friday, October 18, 2013, within the Belgrade Secret Weapon project. The gigs take place in cafes and clubs and the idea is to bring the music played on what are seen as classical instruments closer to a wider audience. At the gigs the Wonder Strings Quartet usually plays themes from its tango, jazz and latino repertoire but lately it’s also been throwing in some good old rock and pop. In cooperation with percussionist Aleksandar Radulović, who plays an instrument called the cajon, the music sounds great!
This time the Quartet performed at the Toulouse-Lautrec Club in 24 Resavska St, Belgrade. The club is decorated in the style of Paris form the times of Lautrec and its bohemian atmosphere is very inspiring. Get a glimpse of the fun time we had!
