Children’s Concerts at Belgrade’s Museum of African Art

This September, we had the special pleasure of once again playing for the most playful and curious children’s audience.

In cooperation with the organization Odgajanje sa muzikom (Raising With Music), the Wonder Strings quartet held three performances for this young audience in one afternoon. Set in the front garden of the Museum of African Art, two concerts were intended for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old, while one performance welcomed children from 4 to 6 years old.

For this special audience, we had prepared a specific repertoire. It included well-known children’s songs such as “Zakleo se bumbar” and “Na svetu postoji jedno carstvo”, then newer favorites from popular animated movies like “The Little Mermaid” and “Frozen”, as well as classical standards such as Mozart’s “A Little Night Music”. Certain songs were chosen so that parents can also enjoy the concert – for example, our covers of “Floyd”, “Mamma Mia” by ABBA, or “Havana” by Camila Cabello.

We were delighted to be a part of this special summer program of the organization Odgajanje sa muzikom – on this occasion, our performance closed the fourth season of their popular outdoor concerts. We can’t wait for the next opportunity to sing, play, and make music together again!
